Jarā’s Account and the Enthronement of Jarāsandha (जरासंधोत्पत्तिः अभिषेकश्च)
तयो: समभवद् गर्भ: फलप्राशनसम्भव: । ते च दृष्टवा स नृपति: परां मुदमवाप ह
tayoḥ samabhavad garbhaḥ phalaprāśanasambhavaḥ | te ca dṛṣṭvā sa nṛpatiḥ parāṃ mudam avāpa ha ||
तयोः समभवद् गर्भः फलप्राशनसम्भवः। ते च दृष्ट्वा स नृपतिः परां मुदमवाप ह॥
श्रीकृष्ण उवाच
The verse highlights that events aligned with destiny unfold inevitably, and that a sage’s satya (truthfulness) has real potency—his words and gifts are efficacious, producing tangible results.
Two queens conceive as a result of consuming a fruit; upon seeing their pregnancy, the king is filled with great joy, anticipating the continuation of his lineage.
