Samrāt-Lakṣaṇa and the Counsel to Check Jarāsandha (सम्राट्-लक्षणं जरासन्ध-प्रतिबाधा-परामर्शः)

चतुर्थभाग्‌ महाराज भोज इन्द्रसखो बली । विद्याबलाद्‌ यो व्यजयत्‌ सपाण्ड्यक्रथकैशिकान्‌,राजन! जो पृथ्वीके एक चौथाई भागके स्वामी हैं, इन्द्रके सखा हैं, बलवान हैं, जिन्होंने अस्त्र-विद्याके बलसे पाण्ड्य, क्रथ और कैशिक देशोंपर विजय पायी है, जिनका भाई आकृति जमदग्निनन्दन परशुरामके समान शौर्यसम्पन्न है, वे भोजवंशी शत्रुहन्ता राजा भीष्मक (मेरे श्वशुर होते हुए) भी मगधराज जरासंधके भक्त हैं

caturthabhāg mahārāja bhoja indrasakho balī | vidyābalād yo vyajayat sapāṇḍyakrathakaiśikān |

राजन्, चतुर्थभागधरः पृथिव्याः भोजो महाराजो भीष्मकः—इन्द्रसखो बली, यो विद्याबलादस्त्रविद्यया पाण्ड्यक्रथकैशिकान् जिगाय—स शत्रुहन्ता (मम श्वशुरोऽपि) सन्नपि मागधराजं जरासन्धं भक्त्या सेवते।
