विविंशतिक्षित्रसेनो विकर्णश्र तवात्मज: । अयोधयन् भीमसेनं महत्या सेनया वृता:,आपके पुत्र विविंशति, चित्रसेन और विकर्ण--ये तीनों विशाल सेनाके साथ रहकर भीमसेनके साथ युद्ध करने लगे
viviṁśatiś citraseno vikarṇaś ca tavātmajaḥ | ayodhayan bhīmasenaṁ mahatyā senayā vṛtāḥ ||
विविंशतिश्चित्रसेनो विकर्णश्च तवात्मजाः । महत्या सेनया वृताः भीमसेनमयोधयन् ॥
संजय उवाच
The verse highlights the testing ground of kṣatriya-dharma in war: lineage and numbers offer support, yet true outcome depends on courage, skill, and the moral momentum of the larger conflict. It also reflects how war draws many into direct confrontation with a few pivotal champions.
Sañjaya reports to Dhṛtarāṣṭra that three of his sons—Viviṁśati, Citrasena, and Vikarṇa—together with a large supporting force, are actively fighting Bhīmasena on the battlefield.
