त॑ं तु लोकवरः पुंसां किरीटी हेमवर्मभृत् । चापबाणधरो वाहूं प्रदक्षिणमवर्तत,तब पुरुषोंमें श्रेष्ठ लोकप्रवर अर्जुनने सोनेके कवच और किरीट धारण करके धनुष- बाण लेकर उस रथकी परिक्रमा की
taṁ tu lokavaraḥ puṁsāṁ kirīṭī hemavarmabhṛt | cāpabāṇadharo vāhūṁ pradakṣiṇam avartata ||
तं तु लोकवरः पुंसां किरीटी हेमवर्मभृत् । चापबाणधरो बाहूं प्रदक्षिणमवर्तत ॥
संजय उवाच
Even in warfare, righteous action is marked by self-control and reverence: Arjuna’s pradakṣiṇā reflects disciplined intent and respect for duty, not reckless violence.
Sanjaya describes Arjuna, fully armed and adorned, making a respectful clockwise circuit around the chariot—an auspicious, reverential gesture before engaging in the next martial action.
