कृच्छेण महता राजन् रजनी व्यत्यवर्तत । राजन! प्रभो! इस प्रकार बातें करते और अर्जुनकी विजय चाहते हुए उन सभी सैनिकोंकी वह रात्रि महान् कष्टसे बीती थी
kṛcchreṇa mahatā rājan rajanī vyatyavartata |
कृच्छ्रेण महता राजन् रजनी व्यत्यवर्तत। एवं परस्परं भाषमाणाः सर्वे ते योधाः पार्थस्य जयमभिकाङ्क्षन्तो महता क्लेशेन तां रात्रिं निन्युः।
