युयुत्सुश्नापि कृष्णेन श्रुतो वीरानुपालभन् | “मैंने घमंडमें भरे हुए धृतराष्ट्रपुत्रोंका सिंहनाद सुना है और श्रीकृष्णने यह भी सुना है कि युयुत्सु उन कौरववीरोंको इस प्रकार उपालम्भ दे रहा था
sañjaya uvāca | yuyutsuś cāpi kṛṣṇena śrutaḥ vīrān upālabhan |
सञ्जय उवाच—युयुत्सुरपि कृष्णेन श्रुतो वीरानुपालभन्। धृतराष्ट्रपुत्राणां गर्वोन्नतानां सिंहनादं निशम्य, श्रीकृष्णो युयुत्सुना तान् कौरववीरान् तथा निगृह्य वचनैः परुषैरुपालभ्यमानान् अपि शुश्राव।
संजय उवाच
Even within an unjust cause, dharmic discernment can arise: Yuyutsu’s reproach highlights that pride and triumphalism in war are ethically corrosive, and that moral counsel—though unwelcome—remains necessary when adharma is being normalized.
Amid the battle atmosphere and the Kauravas’ loud, prideful war-cries, Yuyutsu is heard admonishing the Kaurava warriors; Krishna also hears this rebuke, signaling that Yuyutsu’s stance is notable and morally charged within the unfolding conflict.
