तमयस्मयवर्माणमिषुणा दूरपातिना । विव्याध हृदि सौभद्र: स पपात व्यसु: क्षितौ,तब अभिमन्युने लोहमय कवच धारण करनेवाले वसातीयको दूरतकके लक्ष्यको मार गिरानेवाले बाणद्वारा उसकी छातीमें चोट पहुँचायी, जिससे वह प्राणहीन होकर पृथ्वीपर गिर पड़ा
