संजय उवाच
The verse highlights a battlefield paradox: opposition to a formidable weapon can, through repeated engagement, intensify a side’s strength and cohesion. Ethically, it underscores how perseverance and collective resolve can grow under pressure, even amid destructive conflict.
Sañjaya reports to Dhṛtarāṣṭra that as the Kaurava warriors continue to fight against a particular astra being used in the battle, the Kaurava host is not collapsing; rather, their effective power is increasing with each encounter.
