Shloka 236

तव चापि सहिष्येड5हं गदापाताननेकश: । खड़ा रह, खड़ा रह', मेरी गदाकी यह एक ही चोट सह ले, फिर मैं तेरी गदाकी भी अनेक चोटें सहन करूँगा”

tava cāpi sahiṣye ’haṃ gadāpātān anekaśaḥ | khaḍā raha, khaḍā raha, merī gadā-kī yaha eka hī coṭa saha le, phira maiṃ terī gadā-kī bhī aneka coṭeṃ sahan karūṃgā |

सञ्जय उवाच—तव चापि सहिष्येऽहं गदापाताननेकशः। तिष्ठ तिष्ठ—मम गदाया एकमेव प्रहारं सहस्व; ततः तव गदाया अपि बहून् प्रहारान् अहं सहिष्ये।
