चिक्षेपाविध्य वेगेन दुर्योधनरथं प्रति । महाराज! तब भीमसेनने अपनी अत्यन्त तेजस्विनी गदाको बड़े वेगसे घुमाकर दुर्योधनके रथपर दे मारा ।। ततः सा सहसा वाहांस्तव पुत्रस्य संयुगे

चिक्षेपाविध्य वेगेन दुर्योधनरथं प्रति। ततः सा सहसा वाहांस्तव पुत्रस्य संयुगे।
संजय उवाच
The verse underscores the instability of power in war: even a mighty warriors advantage can vanish in an instant. Ethically, it reflects the Mah01bh01ratas sober view that martial prowess (ketra-valor) operates within a larger moral and fateful economy, where violence brings swift, often irreversible consequences.
Sanjaya reports to Dhtar01ra that Bhimasena, with great speed and accurate aim, hurls his mace at Duryodhanas chariot; the weapon suddenly strikes down Duryodhanas horses in the midst of combat, disrupting his chariot in the battle scene.
