तौ दृष्टवा भ्रातरौ यत्तौ द्रोणानीकमभिद्रुती,महाराज! उन दोनों भाइयोंको द्रोणाचार्यकी सेनाकी ओर युद्धके लिये उद्यत होकर जाते देख पांचाल, सूंजय, मत्स्य, चेदि, कारूष, कोसल तथा केकय महारथियोंने भी उन्हींका अनुसरण किया
sañjaya uvāca | tau dṛṣṭvā bhrātarau yattau droṇānīkam abhidrutī, mahārāja | ubhau tau bhrātarau droṇācāryasya senām prati yuddhāya udyatāv gacchantau dṛṣṭvā pāñcālāḥ, śūrajayāḥ, matsyāḥ, cedayaḥ, kārūṣāḥ, kośalāḥ tathā kaikeyā mahārathinaś ca teṣām eva anuyayūḥ |
तौ भ्रातरौ यत्तौ द्रोणानीकमभिद्रुतौ दृष्ट्वा, महाराज, पाञ्चालाः शूरजयाः मत्स्याश्चेदयः कारूषाः कोसलाः केकयाश्च महारथाः तयोरेवान्वयुः।
सयजय उवाच
Determined action in a righteous cause can rally allies; in war, individual resolve often becomes a catalyst for collective duty, binding confederate forces to stand together despite risk.
Sañjaya reports to the king that two brothers, ready for combat, charge toward Droṇa’s formation; seeing them, multiple allied contingents—Pāñcālas and others—advance in support, following their lead into the fight.
