यादृशं कृतवानद्य त्वमेक: शत्रुतापन: । 'युद्धमें कोई भी ऐसा पराक्रम नहीं कर सकता, जैसा कि आज तुमने अकेले ही कर दिखाया है। वास्तवमें तुम शत्रुओंको संताप देनेवाले हो
yādṛśaṁ kṛtavān adya tvam ekaḥ śatrutāpanaḥ | yuddhe na kaścid evaṁ vīryaṁ kartuṁ śaknoti yathā tvayā adyaikena kṛtam | vastutas tvaṁ śatrūṇāṁ santāpa-karaḥ ||
सञ्जय उवाच—यादृशं कृतवानद्य त्वमेकः शत्रुतापनः। युद्धे तादृशं पराक्रमं कर्तुं न कश्चन शक्नोति; सत्यं त्वं शत्रूणां संतापकारकः॥
