यदवोचोडप्रियं भीम॑ नैतत् सत्यं वचस्तव । 'तूने युद्धमें संलग्न, श्रेष्ठ व्रतके पालनमें तत्पर, पराक्रमी और शूरवीर भीमसेनके प्रति जो अप्रिय वचन कहा है, तेरा यह कथन ठीक नहीं है
sañjaya uvāca | yad avoco 'priyaṃ bhīma naitat satyaṃ vacas tava |
सञ्जय उवाच—यद् अवोचः अप्रियं भीमं, नैतत् सत्यं वचस्तव। युद्धे संलग्नं, श्रेष्ठव्रतपरायणं, पराक्रमशालिनं शूरं भीमसेनं प्रति तवैतद् वचनम् अयुक्तम्।
