युधिष्ठटिरस्थ चरणावभिवाद्य कृताञ्जलि: । तेन मूर्थन्युपाप्रात आरुरोह महारथम्,इसके बाद सात्यकिने हाथ जोड़कर युधिष्ठिरके चरणोंमें प्रणाम किया और युधिष्ठिरने उनका मस्तक सूँघा। फिर वे उस विशाल रथपर आखरूढ़ हो गये
Yudhiṣṭhirasyātha caraṇāv abhivādya kṛtāñjaliḥ | tena mūrdhny upāghrāta āruroha mahāratham ||
युधिष्ठिरस्य चरणावभिवाद्य कृताञ्जलिः । तेन मूर्धन्युपाघ्रातः आरुरोह महारथम् ॥
संजय उवाच
Even in wartime, dharma is maintained through humility and proper conduct: the warrior shows reverence by bowing with joined palms, and the king responds with a gesture of affectionate blessing, affirming moral order and mutual responsibility.
A warrior respectfully salutes Yudhiṣṭhira by bowing at his feet with añjali; Yudhiṣṭhira blesses him by smelling his head, and the warrior then mounts a great chariot to proceed with the next action in the battle sequence.
