Duryodhana Seeks Droṇa’s Counsel; Imperative to Protect Jayadratha; Pāñcāla Assault on Duryodhana
त॑ कृच्छामापदं प्राप्तं दृष्टयवा परमधन्विन: । समापेतु: परीप्सन्तो धनंजयशरार्दितम्,धनंजयके बाणोंसे पीड़ित हुए दुर्योधनको भारी विपत्तिमें पड़ा हुआ देख श्रेष्ठ धनुर्धर योद्धा उसकी रक्षाके लिये आ पहुँचे
taṁ kṛcchrām āpadaṁ prāptaṁ dṛṣṭvā te paramadhanvinaḥ | samāpetuḥ parīpsanto dhanañjaya-śarārditam ||
सञ्जय उवाच । तं कृच्छ्रामापदं प्राप्तं दृष्ट्वा परमधन्विनः । धनञ्जयशरार्दितं दुर्योधनं परित्राणे समापेतुः परीप्सवः ॥
