तृष्णीम्भूतान्यनीकानि योधा युद्धादुपारमन्
tṛṣṇīmbhūtāny anīkāni yodhā yuddhād upāraman

संजय उवाच
Even amid relentless warfare, moments of cessation occur—whether from fatigue, shock, or a fleeting return of restraint—hinting that human agency can interrupt violence, if only temporarily.
Sañjaya reports to Dhṛtarāṣṭra that the opposing formations became quiet and the warriors stopped fighting, marking a brief lull in the battle’s intensity.
