विभूति-योगः (Vibhūti-yoga) — Exemplary Manifestations as a Contemplative Index
परम सिद्धिको प्राप्त महात्माजनर मुझको प्राप्त होकर दुःखोंके घर एवं क्षणभंगुर पुनर्जन्मको नहीं प्राप्त होते: ।। सम्बन्ध-- भगवत्प्राप्त मह्मत्मा पुरुषोंका पुनर्जन्म नहीं होता--इस कथनसे यह प्रकट होता है कि दूसरे जीवोंका पुनर्जन्म होता है। अतः यहाँ यह जाननेकी इच्छा होती है कि किस लोकतक पहुँचे हुए जीवोंको वापस लौटना पड़ता है। इसपर भगवान् कहते हैं-- आब्रद्मभुवनाललोका: पुनरावर्तिनोअ<र्जुन मामुपेत्य तु कौन्तेय पुनर्जन्म न विद्यते,हे अर्जुन! ब्रह्मलोकपर्यन्त* सब लोक पुनरावर्ती- हैं, परंतु हे कुन्तीपुत्र! मुझको प्राप्त होकर पुनर्जन्म नहीं होता; क्योंकि मैं कालातीत हूँ और ये सब ब्रह्मादिके लोक कालके द्वारा सीमित होनेसे अनित्य हैं
arjuna uvāca | ābrahma-bhuvanāl lokāḥ punarāvartino 'rjuna | mām upetya tu kaunteya punarjanma na vidyate ||
आब्रह्मभुवनाल्लोकाः पुनरावर्तिनोऽर्जुन । मामुपेत्य तु कौन्तेय पुनर्जन्म न विद्यते ॥
