कि ते विवक्षया वीर जहि भीष्मं महारथम्‌ । न हान्यमनुपश्यामि कज्चिद्‌ यौधिष्ठिरे बले

sañjaya uvāca |

kiṁ te vivakṣayā vīra jahi bhīṣmaṁ mahāratham |

na hi anyam anupaśyāmi kaścid yudhiṣṭhire bale ||

सञ्जय उवाच—वीर! किं ते विवक्षया? किं पुनर्विचारेण? जहि भीष्मं महारथम्। युधिष्ठिरस्य बलेऽहं नान्यमनुपश्यामि कञ्चिद् यो रणभूमौ भीष्मं प्रतिमन्तुं शक्नुयात्।
