यच्च नः सहितान्‌ सर्वान्‌ विराटनगरे तदा । एक एव समुद्यात: पर्याप्त॑ तन्निदर्शनम्‌,“उन दिनों विराटनगरमें हम सब लोग एक साथ युद्धके लिये डटे हुए थे, परंतु अर्जुनने अकेले ही हमलोगोंपर आक्रमण किया। यह उनकी अपरिमित शक्तिका पर्याप्त उदाहरण है

yac ca naḥ sahitān sarvān virāṭa-nagare tadā | eka eva samudyātaḥ paryāptaṁ tan nidarśanam ||

सञ्जय उवाच—यच्च नः सहितान् सर्वान् विराटनगरे तदा युद्धाय समवस्थितान् एक एव समुद्यतः पार्थोऽस्मान् अभ्यपतत्। तदेव पर्याप्तं तन्निदर्शनम्—अर्जुनस्याप्रमेयबलस्य प्रमाणम्॥
