द्रोणं य युधि संरब्धं मां च निर्जित्य संयुगे । वासांसि स समादत्त पर्याप्तं तन्निदर्शनम्,'अर्जुनने क्रोधमें भरे हुए द्रोणाचार्यको तथा मुझे भी युद्धमें परास्त करके सबके वस्त्र छीन लिये थे। यह उनकी अजेयताका पर्याप्त प्रमाण है
droṇaṃ ya yudhi saṃrabdhaṃ māṃ ca nirjitya saṃyuge | vāsāṃsi sa samādatta paryāptaṃ tan nidarśanam ||
सञ्जय उवाच—द्रोणं युधि संरब्धं मां च निर्जित्य संयुगे स वासांसि समादत्त। तदेव पर्याप्तं तन्निदर्शनम्—तस्य दुर्जयपराक्रमस्य प्रमाणम्॥
