Chapter 57
हस्वेन चैते आमुक्ते भवतो हस्वके तदा । अनुरूपेण चामुक्ते जायेते तत्प्रमाणके,“छोटे कदका मनुष्य इन कुण्डलोंको पहने तो छोटे हो जाते हैं और बड़ी डील- डौलवाले मनुष्यके पहननेपर उसीके अनुरूप बड़े हो जाते हैं
hvasvena caite āmukte bhavato hvasvake tadā | anurūpeṇa cāmukte jāyete tatpramāṇake ||
वैशम्पायन उवाच— “ह्रस्वेन चैतान् आमुक्ते भवतो ह्रस्वका तदा; अनुरूपेण चामुक्ते जायन्ते तत्प्रमाणकाः—धारकस्यैव प्रमाणं गृह्णन्ति।”
