इन्द्रेण च पुरा व्र॒ज॑ क्षिप्तं श्रीकाड्क्षिणा मम । दग्ध्वा कण्ठं तु तद् यातं तेन श्रीकण्ठता मम
Translation
पुरा इन्द्रेण मम श्रियै वज्रं मयि क्षिप्तम्। तत् वज्रं कण्ठं दग्ध्वा गतं; तेनाहं ‘श्रीकण्ठ’ इति ख्यातिमगमम्।
