वैशम्पायन उवाच—अरिंदम! यदर्थं तथागतेऽपि तस्मिन् घोराग्निकाण्डेऽग्निर्न शार्कईकान् ददाह, यथा च सा घटना समभवत्, तत् सर्वं यथाभूतं ते प्रवक्ष्यामि। शृणु।
वैशम्पायन उवाच
