FAQs

It frames certain named forces as Yātudhānas linked to the elements (water and wind), implying that Linga-pūjā under Shiva as Pati harmonizes elemental disturbances that act as pasha (bondage/obstruction) to the pashu (soul).

By classifying elemental powers and occult beings, the verse implicitly points to Shiva-tattva as the sovereign regulator (Pati) over bhūtas and subtle agencies—nothing lies outside his governance in creation.

No single rite is named, but the implication aligns with Pāśupata discipline: purification and mastery of vāyu/āpaḥ disturbances through mantra-japa, śiva-dhyāna, and steadiness of prāṇa so that pasha-like obstructions subside.
