Suta Goswami (narrating to the sages of Naimisharanya)
It highlights Rudra as the sovereign Pati whom none can truly obstruct; Linga worship is grounded in approaching the Unbounded Lord beyond all worldly stratagems and limitations.
Shiva-tattva is shown as unconstrained and self-luminous: others may attempt to restrain His ‘path,’ but their actions occur within His lila, while He remains beyond pasha (bondage).
A Pashupata insight is implied: abandon manipulative ‘naipuṇāni’ (clever devices) and instead take refuge in disciplined devotion and yogic surrender to Pati, the Lord who alone grants release to the pashu.
