FAQs

It establishes the kṣetra (sacred locale) as exceptionally pure and universally revered, implying that Linga-pūjā performed in such a Siddha-kṣetra yields intensified merit and quicker fruition for the pashu (soul) seeking Shiva’s grace.

By highlighting a Siddha-kṣetra honored even by opposing cosmic forces (Devas and Dānavas), the verse points to Shiva as Pati beyond dualities—whose sanctifying presence makes a place a field of siddhi and liberation.

While no specific rite is stated, the designation “Siddha-kṣetra” suggests a place suited for Pāśupata-oriented sādhana—japa, dhyāna, and Linga-arcana—where bondage (pāśa) is weakened through disciplined worship and tapas.
