Diti’s Puṁsavana Vow, Indra’s Intervention, and the Birth of the Maruts
नाप्सु स्नायान्न कुप्येत न सम्भाषेत दुर्जनै: । न वसीताधौतवास: स्रजं च विधृतां क्वचित् ॥ ४८ ॥
nāpsu snāyān na kupyeta na sambhāṣeta durjanaiḥ na vasītādhauta-vāsaḥ srajaṁ ca vidhṛtāṁ kvacit
श्रीकश्यप उवाच—भद्रे, स्नानकालेऽप्सु न प्रविशेत्; न कुप्येत; दुर्जनैः सह न सम्भाषेत न सङ्गं कुर्यात्; अधौतवासो न वसीत; पूर्वधृतां स्रजं कदाचिदपि न धारयेत्।
