The Dynasty of Vaivasvata Manu Begins — Ilā/Sudyumna and the Birth of Purūravā

This verse states that across all Manvantaras, Hari—the Lord of unlimited potency—performs heroic deeds, and these accounts are heard from the speaker’s narration.
Parikshit acknowledges he has heard the Manvantara narratives and the Lord’s acts within them, setting the stage to continue the Bhagavatam’s unfolding history and dynastic accounts in Canto 9.
Regularly hearing and recalling the Lord’s acts strengthens faith and devotion, helping one see divine guidance even through changing cycles and eras.
