In this verse, Kṛṣṇa kills Śatadhanvā with the Sudarśana disc and then searches his clothing to recover the Syamantaka jewel.
Śatadhanvā had committed grave wrongdoing in the Syamantaka episode; Kṛṣṇa, upholding dharma, pursued him and executed him with the Sudarśana Cakra.
The verse highlights accountability and the restoration of rightful order—act ethically, correct wrongdoing through lawful means, and value truth over fear or favoritism.
