Uddhava Sent to Vraja: Consolation to Nanda-Yaśodā and the Gopīs’ Separation

It indicates the arrival of an important visitor to Vraja—Uddhava—whose presence will trigger the Vraja-vāsīs to inquire and soon hear news connected to Śrī Kṛṣṇa.
Because an unfamiliar, splendid chariot appeared at Nanda’s gate at sunrise, and the simple village residents of Vraja naturally wondered who had come and for what purpose.
It teaches attentiveness and eagerness for saintly association and divine messages—when something connected to Kṛṣṇa arrives, a devotee becomes alert, inquisitive, and ready to hear.
