ननु स्वार्थविमूढानां प्रमत्तानां गृहेहया । अहो न: स्मारयामास गोपवाक्यै: सतां गति: ॥ ४५ ॥

Transliteration

nanu svārtha-vimūḍhānāṁ pramattānāṁ gṛhehayā aho naḥ smārayām āsa gopa-vākyaiḥ satāṁ gatiḥ

Translation

ननु वयं गृहकर्मासक्त्या स्वार्थे विमूढाः प्रमत्ताश्च, जीवनस्य परमार्थात् सर्वथा विच्युताः। किन्तु पश्यत—एतेषां सरलानां गोपकुमाराणां वाक्यैः स एव भगवान् सतां परां गतिं नः स्मारयामास॥
