Gajendra Prelude
सोऽनृतव्रतदु:शीलानसतो यक्षराक्षसान् । भूतद्रुहो भूतगणांश्चावधीत् सत्यजित्सख: ॥ २६ ॥
so ’nṛta-vrata-duḥśīlān asato yakṣa-rākṣasān bhūta-druho bhūta-gaṇāṁś cāvadhīt satyajit-sakhaḥ
सत्यसेनः सत्यजित्सखः सन् अनृतव्रतान् दु:शीलान् असतः यक्षराक्षसान् भूतद्रुहः भूतगणांश्च अवधीৎ।
This verse condemns those who are untrue to their vows and depicts them as irreligious and dangerous, fit to be restrained by righteous authority.
Śukadeva Gosvāmī is narrating to Mahārāja Parīkṣit, describing the suppression of wicked Yakṣas and Rākṣasas.
