यद्यच्छृणोति कर्णाभ्यां तत्तदात्मेति भावयेत् । लभते नासया यद्यत् तत्तदात्मेति भावयेत् ॥७०॥

Padapatha (Word Split)

यत् यत् शृणोति कर्णाभ्याम् तत् तत् आत्मा इति भावयेत् । लभते नासया यत् यत् तत् तत् आत्मा इति भावयेत् ॥

IAST Transliteration

yad yac chṛṇoti karṇābhyāṃ tat tad ātmeti bhāvayet | labhate nāsayā yad yat tat tad ātmeti bhāvayet ||70||

Translation

Что бы ни слышал человек двумя ушами, пусть созерцает это как: «то есть Атман (Самость)». Что бы ни обонял он носом, пусть созерцает это как: «то есть Атман».

Academic Translation

Whatever one hears with the two ears—one should contemplate that as ‘that is the Self’. Whatever one smells with the nose—one should contemplate that as ‘that is the Self’.
