Разнообразными дарами он удовлетворил и обрадовал мудрецов-муни и, с великим почтением, отдал всё своё богатство двиджам — «дваждырождённым».
Agastya (contextual continuation)
Tirtha: Ayodhyā-kṣetra
Type: kshetra
Scene: After the yajña, the king distributes diverse gifts—cows, gold, cloth, grain—to brāhmaṇas; sages smile in satisfaction; the king’s treasury appears emptied, emphasizing total renunciation.
Dāna done with reverence purifies wealth and heart, and it becomes complete when it brings peace and joy to the wise.
The broader glorification is of Ayodhyā and its dhārmic kings, presented as a sacred landscape shaped by righteous conduct.
Giving varied forms of charity (nānāvidha-dāna), especially honoring dvijas, is upheld as a key dharmic practice.
