विलयं यांति पापानि जन्मकोटिकृतान्यपि । वृथा संन्यासिनां पुण्यं वृथा च वनवासिनाम्
vilayaṃ yāṃti pāpāni janmakoṭikṛtānyapi | vṛthā saṃnyāsināṃ puṇyaṃ vṛthā ca vanavāsinām
«Грехи — даже совершённые за десять миллионов рождений — растворяются и исчезают. По сравнению с этим заслуга отречённых кажется тщетной, и заслуга лесных подвижников также кажется тщетной.»
