tasminkule nā'sukhaḥ syānnā'dharmo nā'dhanastathā | nā'putro na vikarmasthaḥ kitavo nīcasevakaḥ
Skanda (deduced from Dvārakā Māhātmya merit-fruit passage)
Tirtha: Dvārakā
Type: kshetra
Scene: A prosperous, harmonious household stands before the deity; symbols of adharma—dice (gambling), chains of servility, signs of poverty—are absent or cast aside; elders bless children under the deity’s gaze.
Sincere devotion aligned with dharma is said to purify lineage-life, removing adharma and its social consequences.
Dvārakā, where the worship of Rukmiṇī is presented as especially meritorious.
This verse states the fruits (phalaśruti) of the worship described earlier—ethical and material well-being in the family.
