Transliteration

merumūrdhni purā pṛthvī samavetāndivaukasaḥ | bhārākrāṃtā jagādaitānbhāro'pa hriyatāṃ hi me

Translation

В древности, на вершине Меру, Земля, раздавленная бременем, обратилась к собравшимся богам: «Да будет воистину снята с меня эта тяжесть».
