Transliteration

tāryate ca nadīṃ ghorāṃ pūyaśoṇitavāhinīm | nadīṃ vaitaraṇīṃ nāma keśaśaivalaśādvalām

Translation

И его заставляют переправиться через страшную реку, несущую гной и кровь, — реку по имени Вайтараṇи, чьи берега спутаны волосами и покрыты склизкими водорослями и травой.
