तस्यां दत्तं हुतं चेष्टं सर्वमेवाक्षयं मतम् । सर्वदारिद्र्यशमनं भास्करप्रीतये मतम्

Transliteration

tasyāṃ dattaṃ hutaṃ ceṣṭaṃ sarvamevākṣayaṃ matam | sarvadāridryaśamanaṃ bhāskaraprītaye matam

Translation

В тот день всё, что даруется, всё, что приносится в огонь (хома), и всякое религиозное деяние считается имеющим неисчерпаемый плод. Полагают, что это усмиряет всякую бедность, ибо совершается ради удовлетворения Бхāскары (Солнца).
