सहस्रदशकं चापि सिंहलद्वीपमुच्यते । षट्त्रिंशच्च सहस्राणि ग्रामाणां पांडुदेशकः
sahasradaśakaṃ cāpi siṃhaladvīpamucyate | ṣaṭtriṃśacca sahasrāṇi grāmāṇāṃ pāṃḍudeśakaḥ
Симхала-двипа также, говорится, имеет десять тысяч деревень. А Панду-деша объявляется насчитывающей тридцать шесть тысяч деревень.
