Lord Shiva
Tattva Level: pasha
Shiva Form: Īśāna
It presents Shiva as the supreme guide (Pati) who directs even worldly details—like naming—toward auspiciousness, implying that alignment with Shiva’s instruction supports dharma and spiritual welfare.
The verse highlights Saguna Shiva’s role as a personal, speaking Lord who actively instructs devotees; such intimate guidance is central to Purāṇic devotion where the Linga signifies the same Shiva who teaches and protects.
The practical takeaway is attentive listening (śravaṇa) and obedience to Shiva’s guidance—supported by regular japa of “Om Namaḥ Śivāya” to cultivate auspiciousness and steadiness of mind.
