Затем Богиня склонилась в поклоне перед Шивой, и сердце её растаяло в нежной преданности. Благородный Шамбху, исполненный великого разума, посадил её перед собой и предложил ей сиденье.
Sūta Gosvāmin (narrating the Satī–Śiva episode to the sages)
Tattva Level: pati
Shiva Form: Umāpati
Shakti Form: Satī
Role: nurturing
It highlights bhakti marked by humility: Satī’s heartfelt bow shows the soul (paśu) turning toward Pati (Śiva), and Śiva’s offering of a seat symbolizes grace responding to sincere surrender.
The verse reflects Saguna devotion—approaching Śiva as the personal Lord who receives reverence and bestows honoring nearness. In Liṅga-worship, this same mood is expressed through respectful upacāras like āsana, arghya, and namaskāra.
Practice namaskāra with a softened, attentive heart before pūjā; then offer āsana as an upacāra to Śiva (especially in Liṅga-pūjā). As a meditative takeaway, begin japa of “Om Namaḥ Śivāya” with humility and inner surrender.
