It highlights karma and puṇya: refined qualities such as beauty and auspicious fortune arise from prior merit, and they reach their highest purpose when aligned with dharmic love and sacred union, ultimately oriented toward devotion to Shiva.
In the Pārvatīkhaṇḍa, conjugal harmony is presented as sanctified when centered on Shiva. In Shaiva Siddhanta terms, such worldly gifts become meaningful when they support bhakti to Saguna Shiva (worship of Shiva with form, including Liṅga-upāsanā) rather than mere sensual enjoyment.
The implied takeaway is to convert household life into Shiva-centered dharma: daily Liṅga-pūjā with the Pañcākṣarī mantra ("Om Namaḥ Śivāya"), along with purity, vows, and devotion so that worldly blessings become spiritually fruitful.
