Consecration/Installation
इति श्रीशिवमहापुराणे द्वितीयायां रुद्रसंहितायां चतुर्थे कुमारखण्डे कुमाराभिषेकवर्णनं नाम पंचमोऽध्यायः
iti śrīśivamahāpurāṇe dvitīyāyāṃ rudrasaṃhitāyāṃ caturthe kumārakhaṇḍe kumārābhiṣekavarṇanaṃ nāma paṃcamo'dhyāyaḥ
Так, в «Шри Шива-махапуране», во второй части, именуемой «Рудра-самхита», в четвёртом разделе «Кумара-кханда», завершается пятая глава под названием «Описание абхишеки (священного помазания) Кумары».
Sūta Gosvāmī (narrator concluding the chapter to the sages at Naimiṣāraṇya)
This is a colophon marking the completion of a chapter; it preserves scriptural hierarchy and authenticity, helping devotees locate and recite the correct section of the Rudra Saṃhitā while honoring the sacred narrative of Kumāra’s consecration under Śiva’s divine order.
Though not describing a ritual directly, the chapter-title “Kumāra’s Abhiṣeka” reflects the Purāṇic pattern of consecration rooted in Saguna Śiva’s grace—mirroring how devotees perform abhiṣeka to the Śiva-liṅga as a tangible act of devotion and alignment with Śiva’s will.
As a chapter colophon, it mainly suggests disciplined scriptural recitation (pārāyaṇa) with devotion; practitioners may pair the reading with pañcākṣarī-japa (Om Namaḥ Śivāya) and a simple abhiṣeka offering to Śiva as a devotional conclusion.
