Great Vanara, Hanuman, gazing at miserable, joyless, ascetic woman seated in the chariot, worried, why she is in the chariot. He spoke to the best of Vanara leaders and rushed towards the son of Ravana with them.
When adharma uses intimidation and display, dharma responds with clear recognition of wrongdoing and readiness to protect, not with paralysis or despair.
A repeated narration (recensional) of Hanumān’s alarm at seeing Sītā in the chariot and his immediate charge at Indrajit.
Protective valor (śaurya) joined with discernment—Hanumān first assesses, then acts.
