Transliteration

iti śoka-samāviṣṭaś cintām aham upāgataḥ |

athāhaṃ vācam aśrauṣaṃ cāraṇānāṃ śubhākṣarām |

jānakī na ca dagdheti vismayodanta-bhāṣiṇām ||

Translation

Погружённый в скорбь, я впал в тревожные думы; и тогда услышал благозвучную, благую речь чаранов, возвещавших дивную весть: «Джанакӣ не сожжена».
