तस्मिन्सम्भ्रियमाणे तु राघवस्याभिषेचने।।।।कैकयी नाम भर्तारं देवी वचनमब्रवीत्।
tasmin sambhriyamāṇe tu rāghavasyābhiṣecane |
kaikeyī nāma bhartāraṃ devī vacanam abravīt ||
Но когда приготовления к помазанию Рагхавы шли полным ходом, царица по имени Кайкейи сказала слова своему супругу.
"While preparations for the coronation were on, queen Kaikeyi said to her husband:
The verse frames a moral turning-point: speech (vāc) can uphold dharma or destabilize it; what is said at critical moments can redirect destiny.
During the coronation preparations, Kaikeyī approaches Daśaratha and begins the demand that will lead to Rama’s exile.
Implicitly, the contrast between righteous intention (coronation) and disruptive counsel; it prepares for the later emphasis on Daśaratha’s truth-bound nature.
