Рама, обогащённый знанием и могучий доблестью, засиял, как осеннее солнце с тысячью лучей. Исполнив должным образом все служения, подобающие сыну Кушики, трое провели ту ночь там, на берегу Сарайю, в великом покое.
.Rama, the highly heroic after acquiring knowledge (of the two sciences) and having rendered all services to preceptor Viswamitra, appeared resplendent like the Sun-god in autumn. There the three of them spent the night comfortably on the bank of Sarayu.
Knowledge must be paired with humility and service: true learning (vidyā) is shown by fulfilling guru-duties, not by pride in newly gained power.
After receiving Bala and Atibala, Rāma performs required services to Viśvāmitra; the group rests for the night on the Sarayū’s bank.
Sevā (service) and discipline: Rāma’s radiance is linked to knowledge plus proper conduct toward his teacher.
