Услышав слова Рамы, исполненные благого помысла ко всем существам, птица поведала ему о происхождении живых существ и, в особенности, о своём роде и о себе самом.
Rama knew he was a friend of his father. So he enquired in a cool, composed voice his name and his lineage.
Satya (truthfulness) in self-presentation: the bird responds to Rāma’s respectful inquiry by giving an orderly and truthful account of lineage and identity.
After being honored by Rāma, Jatāyu begins explaining his background, starting with a broad account of origins and then his own family line.
Jatāyu’s openness and reliability: he answers without concealment, establishing trust and rightful alliance.
