Tīrtha-vidhi (Procedure for Holy Places) — Prayāgarāja-māhātmya
सक्तुभिः पिंडदानं च संयावैः पायसेन वा । बदरामलकैर्वापि पिण्याकैर्वा सुलोचने ॥ ३९ ॥
saktubhiḥ piṃḍadānaṃ ca saṃyāvaiḥ pāyasena vā | badarāmalakairvāpi piṇyākairvā sulocane || 39 ||
О прекрасноглазая, подношение пинда (piṇḍa) можно совершать из поджаренной ячменной муки, или из лепёшек saṃyāva, или из сладкого рисового пудинга pāyasa; также из плодов зизифуса и амалаки (āmalaka), либо даже из жмыха (oil-cake).
